We were at the excellent Centre for Local Policy Studies Summer school where the nmain theme centred aound Eqaulity and the Big Society.  There were a number of stimulating sessions and some strong debate was had.

The story so far

Step-It-Up started life as a project funded.   Research carried out during the time of the project indicated a key need for a placefor the VCFS   'to do business'. The first six months of  2011 have been spent building up the support modules and strategic partnerships.   We are working with UCLAN on sustainable communities and have a strategic alliance with the Youth Federation through their Amicus Project. ...
